Phase 1 due diligence is a standard requirement for most commercial and business real estate transactions. We perform them routinely and rapidly, generally providing an oral report of record searches, onsite surveys, and interviews within five days. We have been active partners in assessing more complex deals, such as the purchase of two fruit processing facilities by an international producer and distributor. Our concerns for one facility were based upon investigation not normally included in such due diligence. Our client did not purchase that plant.
